Thursday, January 22, 2004 ::: Happy Chinese New Year the year of monkey... hmm this year's is kinda special... cuz my relatives from North American are here in HK new year with the presence of a BIG family is just great - the Lee family is just a noisy crowd haha it's interesting to see how similar we are... i've never seen granpa, but it's obvious enough that my dad and his siblings are sharing both my grandma's and grandpa's genes. and my sibilings are sharing THEIR genes (plus my mum's as well)... it's all the similarity and differences between us that make us so interesting... watched John Woo's Paycheck - I think that's a great film... typical hollywood, yea, but let's face it, action films are meant to be made in the hollywood way. don't mind the plot, every plot that deals with time travel have flaws... but overall the story isn't bad at all. and ben affleck is a heart throb, no doubt about that. The only thing i dislike is the complete plagiarism of the Minority Report idea... but they're both Dream Works productions, so i guess spielburg endorsed this too? listening to Mikey Graham's album... nobody knew it was ever released, what a sad thing, cuz it isn't bad work at all. his voice sounds like so many singers... ronan, phil collins, sting... too bad his solo career never took off. nobody gave him a chance, yes this world is unfair. ::: posted by Wings at 1/22/2004 10:21:00 PM
